It was a great match that half way through the project the Schliersee Fellows of the Dekeyser&Friends Foundation had the opportunity to meet Bobby Dekeyser again - this time at his company Dedon in Lüneburg. While they spent most of their time rebuilding a 17t century farm house together with the project Friend Markus Wasmeier for his museum, this weekend was special! Not only was it a highlight of the D&F Academy, the series of value based workshops that accompanies every Dekeyser&Friends Project. Listening to Bobby’s talk and getting a tour through the Dedon headquarters were the perfect setting for this workshop based on the value of entrepreneurship! The Fellows had prepared their personal Dreamplans, of what they would like to achieve after the project, and presented them in one-on-one sessions to Bobby Dekeyser, Markus Stehle, Norbert Lösing and Florian Hoffmann. The evening ended in very high spirits between aerobics, soccer and karaoke. The next morning began with a surprise, before embarking on a tour of the historical Lüneburg, Dedon and our Fellows received a surprise visit from Michael Ballack! And when the Fellows arrived back in Schliersee late at night, this wonderful trip ended with yet another unsuspected highlight: all of Schliersee was covered in a white blanket and for many of our Fellows it was the first time in their life that they saw snow. |
