Fellowship FAQs

What does the Fellowship include? 

Dekeyser&Friends Fellowships include all tuition and project related costs as well as full board (three meals per day) and accommodation for the project duration in shared single sex rooms.

The D&F Academy will arrange and pay for transportation from your nearest major airport to the project and back. We will also pick you up at the airport at the beginning of the project and bring you to the airport on the way back. It is your responsibility to get to the airport and back home in your home country.

Do we need to bring pocket money and if so how much?

Yes, you will need some pocket money. While room and board as well as the project costs will be taken care of, you will need to have a little pocket money for yourself to spend on personal items during the project. You will receive more information on how much we advise you to bring once you are accepted. Please check before you depart wether your local currency is easily exchangeable abroad or whether it is better for you to exchange money at home into US Dollars or Euros.

How do I apply?

You can apply online for all D&F Academy projects on this website. Follow this link to create a user account, you will then receive an email with your password. You can use the password in that email to log in to our site and fill out the application form. You will find more help on filling out the application form under the "Application FAQ" link once your are logged in. 

When will you let me know whether I am accepted or not?

We will usually inform you about our decision within four weeks after the application deadline.
