The basic concept of Fire of Anatolia is the meeting of civilizations. It is a dance portrait aiming to bring eastern and western cultures together while spreading universal messages of peace.

Its shows integrate folkloric dances with ballet, modern dance and other disciplines of dance. Fire of Anatolia, which originates from the thousands of years old mythological and cultural history of Anatolia is a unique artistic project that unites 3000 dance figures and the music of the Anatolian people. The project created by Mustafa Erdogan aims to introduce the world to the shows with its message of peace and the depiction of Anatolian cultural and historic traditions. Mustafa Erdogan, who took the first steps towards realizing his dream in 1990 began the intense practice sessions with what was then known as Sultans of the Dance. Of 750 applicants 90 were selected and trained for one and a half years to create the first Fire of Anatolia show.  The artistic repertoire ranges from dance to the design of the costumes and the music.

Fire of Anatolia was an immediate success from its inception in 2001. Having started its first world tour in 2002, Fire of Anatolia today counts more than 10 million visitors in 1.750 performances in over 60 countries. Becoming famous as one of the largest and best dance shows in the world, Fire of Anatolia became famous far beyond the borders of Turkey and attracted favorable press reviews around the world. The company has performed in the most prestigious place worldwide – ranging from Madison Square Garden, New York to the The Great Hall of the People in China and an open air stage in front of the pyramids in Egypt. Today, thanks to its team of 200 dancers Fire of Anatolia can perform at three different places around the world at the same time.
