The D&F Friends are leading personalities from the fields of sports, the arts, business, philanthropy and others,

who want to pass on their knowledge, passion, and experience to young people. In our projects they become mentors and models for our Fellows, inspiring them with the example of their own lives’ work and the stories of their lives’ journey, passing on what they have learned from successes and failures, from moments of doubt and moments of certainty.

Each project and its goal reflect the passions and interests of our Friend.

He or she decides, which project he or she wants to work on with the Fellows. The D&F Academy finances all projects – Fellows receive full scholarships for travel, room, board, and all other project costs. All that the Friends have to bring is their creativity, time and experience to enjoy a truly inspirational time with the Fellows!

Have you ever asked yourself how you could inspire the next generation?

How you could pass on your knowledge, experience and passion outside a classroom – not in theory but hands-on? How you could meet young people from diverse countries and backgrounds, discuss and find new answers to global problems and shape ideas that change the world? All this is possible in a D&F Academy project.

The D&F Academy team takes care of all organizational aspects of the project.

Our experienced project managers and the D&F Academy team advertise the projects, select the Fellows together with the Friend, organize flights, room and board, and provide support on location for the Fellows and the Friend during the project.
