The Dream Lab
Each Dekeyser & Friends project is complemented by the Dream Lab.
The Dream Lab is full of activities, talks and events that center on topics such as friendship, leadership, tolerance and respect, communication, courage, entrepreneurship, teamwork, passion, inspiration, and optimism.
Istanbul is an amazing city combining old and new, Europe with Asia. Living in a group of dancers and artists will by itself give you a unique insight into Turkish culture and be the basis for many Dream Lab activities. Friendship, teamwork, passion and communication skills will be playing an important role throughout the project and the Dream Lab activities will highlight these themes. Moreover, Dream Lab activities will engage with history and traditions in order to discuss topics such as leadership and tolerance.
Nesteren Davutoğlu
Passion
Nesteren Davutoğlu, is one of Turkey's foremost women in the ad and communication industry, heading Lowe Advertising, one of the leading corporations of the Advertising sector, since 1995 as Chairman. She has been active in the field for almost 30 years and was the Vice President and President of the Advertising Agencies Association between 2000 and 2003, respectively. She is a prodigious writer, both in her professional field and as a travel writer. Nesteren Davutoğlu is also a film producer, her newest work Yüreğine Sor (Ask Your Heart) will reach audiences in 2010
Pablo Martínez Muñiz
Courage
Pablo Martínez Muñiz, born in 1978 in Santander, Spain, is an artist and photographer who lives in Istanbul since 2002. He is the recipient of international grants such as the PROMOE, of Mimar Sinan Üniversitesi, Istanbul (Turkey) and in the Erasmus grant by the Anotati School of Fine Arts, Athens (Greece). His works have been exhibited in Turkey and Spain. Pablo Martínez Muñiz has a Master Degree of Fine Arts from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.
Dr. Ahmet K. Han
Optimism and Leadership
Dr. Ahmet K. Han is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of International Relations in İstanbul University’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, he is also a founding member and deputy chairman of Turkish Mediator’s Association and regularly appears on national TV as commentator and expert on issues such as international relations and energy.
